
Bookkeeper
About the Role
AltaCom is looking for Bookkeeper for our Calgary Head office, with Strong ethical standards and the ability to handle confidential information. You will be expected to work in the office with Finance team.
Requirements
Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Qualifications & Skills
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
Authorization to work in Canada
Preferred Skills:
Quick learner.
Basic understanding of Microsoft 365.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong ethical standards and the ability to handle confidential information.
Experience
No prior experience required, but internships or coursework in accounting is a plus.
Familiarity with bookkeeping and financial reporting is advantageous.
